That's article is so poorly written it's difficult not to take it as a joke!!
However, the point is made and yes I agree. My snake freezer went out last march I think. It had over 50 copperhead skins in it. A total of over 200 snake skins. Most of them skinned. Just ready to tack and dry out. I hadn't done any because my wife had had it with snakes. My fault because I would leave them in the kitchen fridge, freezer too many times.. The breaking point was when she reached her hand into a walmart bag on the kitchen counter when she was putting groceries away and pulled out a copperhead I had left in the bag. Not a good day.. So I was waiting out the cooling off period.
It was a total loss. Most of the snakes I had bought and driven hours and hours to pick up and spent hours and hours carefully skinning. I didn't know the freezer had gone out until I smelt it.. Complete loss.. I HATE wasting anything.. And it bummed me out big time.. How can you ever replace 50 plus copperheads?? Some of them over 33 inches long??
