my other hobby
« on: August 18, 2013, 10:30:53 am »
This is a real time ham radio TV video plane that I fly while sitting behind a tv screen. It is my drone plane. This plane is packed full of electronics from gps to drop container that can carry radio tracking beacon , sirens for auditory alert, full flaps, gyro stabilization for heavy wind and cross wind landing and camera stabilization, it has a range of 3 miles edge to edge. The tv is received through both omni and a direction antennas controlled by a diversity receiver. It has a three hour sortie window.  It has a camera on a pan tilt system. This plane can find lost items like crashed rc planes lost animal like dogs, cows /calves, horses, and people.

Be handy around here with the hog problems we have.
One could locate them and plan the best way to get into position to take out as many as possible , the state does a helicopter sniper shoot from time to time but they miss the smaller groups of hogs that inhabit the brush . The hogs are causing a lot of damage to our farmers land and equipment .

I have thought of taking up something like this for my work  monitoring osprey, but I was worried that the birds may "engage" and get injured.  How about LTA dirigibles?  Something that could hover quietly and silently?*
