Yeah Chris, it might just meet the requisites for that contest  ;) I'm impressed that you recognized it as such. I actually had the ABC in mind as I designed and built it. I remember Dean saying such a bow should be easily strung, from a crouched or laying position if need be... hence the degree of deflex. Turns out it's a very stable little bow to shoot too. I doubt I'll hunt without h it though. I have a habit of hunting with selfbows.
Straight wood may make a better bow, but crooked wood makes a better bowyer

Not to mention that's a killer trifecta...;). I hear ya on only using self bows in the woods...but Roy would try n hunt with it...if it was 20 pounds  :laugh:  57 might be a bit too much for his ole gumships  :laugh:
