I'm thinking I may have to make a few paddle bows; 5" of rain in the last 3 days, 2 more forecasted by Friday, and about an inch in my basement. Don't even want to imagine the MC of my staves right now

You can reduce the staves to floor tiller stage without affecting them adversely. Get them set up, be sure they are sealed well and wait for dryier times.

Barely a white wisp of a cloud in the sky yesterday (in fact I lay back and watched as the Sun burned one away to nothing, about 3pm) and at 09:35 it's looking like it'll be similar today, here in Ireland...
