Small Beginnings
« on: May 09, 2013, 08:10:48 pm »
Well its about time I started getting into Knapping! Finally tried it for the first time at the classic and got some tag team lessons from Will H and Stringman. Will hooked me up with a bucket of material, some tools, and an unbelievably beautiful point for me to examine. What a guy! Well I've been getting to work a bit and finally busted something out. It's the first time I really felt like I had some control and it wasn't an already decently flat flake. Kind of bulky but its a start! Also a pic of some other "points" made from large flakes I practiced my pressure flaking on. Not sure what any of the materials are. Thanks for looking!

Another good man lost to the dark side.  He was so young to be caught up in this, sigh!
Guns have triggers. Bicycles have wheels. Trees and bows have wooden limbs.
