Just something about the shape and style of a smokepole that is so much more elegant than a modern rifle. Don't get me wrong, we have some of the most amazing gunsmiths, engravers ,carvers etc. that have ever graced the face of our earth, living and practicing right now,but the proportions of the "old" ones are so much more graceful. Thanks for sharing.

WOW... nice stack up of guns there!

Well if you insist. I think this is it. Although I did find one hiding out in the closet a few month ago.
I threw in a few cap and balls, a little later but still BP.

OH I forgot one hanging on the wall. Oh well.
Most of my guns are for hunting. Nothing wrong with the fancy guns, just not me.

Nice collection.  I noticed a theme of "working man's guns".  Nothing fancy or showy in the bunch!

I have one of the Pedersoli side by sides like you have in the second photo, but mine has the sime-pistol grip and is the 10 gauge.

I also noticed a fondness for smoothbores in your list.  Can't blame you there, either.  Love them things!
Guns have triggers. Bicycles have wheels. Trees and bows have wooden limbs.

Hey,Don, I just made a presentation case for one of those brass bodied fellas for a friend to give to his Father in law at Christmas. I'm not into pistols so much ,but it was a sweet little gun! Fun project too.
