Those billets are Osage , I like the way they looked and I'm curious if they still look like they did last year or if they turn dark like all Osage if so they may be almost black as dark as they was .
The log I split this evening would have went in whole if I knew how hard it was going to be to split, it's the base of a tree pushing twentyfive inches and a couple limbs out the side and a small hallow , I may not have been in no hurry to raise it ether .
