Hi,
No offense, but you got the "ugly" part right. Super looking tiller, however. Only 2 hours? You're a machine!

Yup, it's an ugly little brute ;D. SImple bend through the handle longbows, after I figured out how mine work, have taken over. If the wood doesn't fight me too badly, they only take a few hours of actually working on them >:D.

It's primitive - that's what I like about it!  I'll bet Jamie L does, too. ;)
October Self Bow of the Month is coming up in a week and we'll look at this one again.

Thanks ;D. This bow took me at two hours to make from tree to finish. I'm really keen on these simple D's :). The pics don't do it full credit though, the back looks like someone took a tiny router to it :o!

Oh, and I found some Osage near my school... >:D

Ever time we go past them I see a few straight pieces about 4+ feet long and i start to salivate... not a normal reaction though ;D

I can't do any shop projects or take any shop classes... I can't be trusted around wood (bows and arrows) or metal (points) ;D. Trees and plants are the worst >:D

It really is a great bow you made! Nothing at all ugly about her.
