I do like Pat and Chris, never really think about limb tapper, just get it floor tillered so both limbs are bending even and all the way trough the limb and go from there. I have tried to even tapper and even uniform tapper on a pyramid ,that don't always work out, it's wood and different along it length. If you will get it floor tillered to start a lot of your problems will go away. :)

So there you have it !
Still more than one way to skin a cat ! ( sorry cat lovers and Del )

You all ready knew the answer before you ask the Question just needed some affirmation !
Slow down and enjoy the process ,learn to enjoy the tools and the way they work ,how to take care of them, and even how to sharpen them!
when you get to that point then learn what the wood is saying to you !
the bow is all ready in the piece of wood you just have to let is loose by taking the unnecessary stuff away from it !
Have fun !!
Enjoy life !!
