Sinew the tips too?

On a 58" osage self bow with flipped tips, should I sinew all the way to the tips?

If the tips are working, yes. If not working there is no reason to do so and it will only add unnecessary physical weight to the tips. I wrap sinew around the ends of the sinew about 6" from the tips. If I plan on skinning the bow I do a temporary sinew wrap and remove it to add the skins then add another wrap to hold the skin(ended at the ednd of the sinew) and sinew in place.

If it is an Indian style bow, then yes.  All the NA bows that that I've seen that are sinewed have sinew all the way to the tips.  If it's a modern style, then the choice is yours.

I leave the last 8-10 free of sinew no matter the situation. I believe the tips working or not will stay put and work fine without sinew. I feel the sinew is best suited on the part of limb really working, again its just my spin on sinew. I dont like adding any weight to that area.

The tips are flipped. The rings on this bow are almost 1/4". I sinewed it due to the 58" ntn dimension. It may have not needed it but see it as insurance. Thanks for the help guys.
