I finally got a point made that I can use as a pattern for some hunting points I want to make. Came in a little heavy 148 grains, but I figure as I get better, I will get them a little thinner. It is Utah Gray obsidian.

That is beautiful 8) The only thing I can even think that is wrong with it is that you won't be able to see the red very well >:D

Hate to argue, but red shows up real well. :P I forgot my glove when I went to my pit and of course ran a flake into my fingertip. I had just washed the point and my hand when I took the photo.

Oh.....well in that case Bevan....It is perfect ;) If I ever figure out how to shape a stone instead of just whatever I end up with I might just copy your pattern >:D

Nothing wrong with 148 gr. Bevan. Great looking point and if it's too heavy send it my way and I will find a whitetail to poke with it >:D
