Very nice saw.  That should cut anything you can pick up and put on the table.  Wish I had a shop big enough for one like that
I started out with nothin' and I still got most of it left

Thank You Fells...

I had pretty much given up on a Band Saw for the time being.
Then I saw this one on Craigslist right down the street from me and Had to the guy a message.
Only to realize that the add was a month old... so I figured it was already gone.
Then the guy called me back, said he'd only had one other call on it, nothing serious.
Next thing I know he's accepting an offer for 40 Cents on the Dollar and we were in bidness.
All I need now is the Rolling Base and a Cover.

Congrats!! You really fell into a great deal. That beast makes my 14" look like a pup. You not only got yourself a deal but your kids after you as well!

OOOOOH!  OOOOOH!!!!, drool, slobber, mumble, drool, ooogh, ooogh, tool!!
Man you are one lucky dog!  Ditto to what has already been said!  I would love to have one of those in my shop in Montana!  My neighbor's cousin has taken ill, and he has some fairly new shop tools, but don't know anything about them.  My neighbor said He or his "Wife might be wanting to sell them, to make space in their shop, which by the description I heard, is more like a warehouse!  But it is packed with stuff, from left overs in the storage units he owns.  Man I would love to go through that place!  But you sure hit the jack pot with that big boy!  Great snag!  Enjoy!

Good find Gus. I looked on our local Craigs List for almost 3 years and couldn't find anything near as nice as yours. The best ones found were too far away to run and look at. All the local ones were the smaller 3 wheel versions or 12" with 1/2 HP motors. I finally ended up purchasing a new
14" 1 HP Grizzly but sure would liked to have found a larger used in as great a shape as what you did.
At my age the 14" should last a lifetime.
I found many years ago that it is much easier and more rewarding working with those that don't know anything than those that know it all.

"That's not a saw, mate... THIS is a saw!!"

Looks like a nice addition to that shop of yours.

It also looks like you've straightened it up a bit since I was there  ;D

Yes Sir Fred,
I'd been looking for a while with no joy.
Had the Grizzly in mind to buy new.
This saw just kinda fell into my lap.
And it was three miles from my house.  :)

I hear ya Nifty... Been trying to tighten up the Patio and my Krazy Wood Piles...
My wife doesn't like stepping over Logs, Staves and sticks... no matter how neatly I stack 'em...  ::)
Hope everything is going well for you and your Family... :)
