a new fletching style for me

A while back, Rich gave me some ruff grouse feathers and I finally got around to trying them out.  I believe this is called three feather tangential fletching. It flies well , but I had a tough time lining em up.  If you have any suggestions or corrections on improving how I did these, please don't hesitate to share.  Thanks for the feathers Rich!   Josh

was just digging thru my beginning to become sparse feather collection thinking of doing some the same.
with some smallish turkey feathers.
pat b has shown his numerous times and i was scanning to find em and found yrs!

I use that method w/ chicken feathers.  Grouse looks nice.  swell job, dp

Thanks for the kind words! Rich, they do get there quick and very quietly! The feathers are pretty soft so they make almost zero noise.  I have a little tweaking to do on the process of applying them, but those little feathers definitely have my attention.  Josh

i recall Pat was telling me about this style of fletching for chicken feathers. I never got around to getting those chicken feathers though.  I think i read the hadzabe use this type of fletching for their smallish feathers.So 3 whole feathers are tied around the shaft huh? Must be a quick and easy fletching style.
