The one on top is a red oak board bow I did for practice, added the stripe pattern with as a after thought. When I finished it the tiller was perfect but as I shot it that hinge developed, it's has about a 40# draw weight.
The second is my first time with Osage, heat bending, and sinew backing. I used titebond III to glue on the sinew and I'm wondering how much reflex and poundage it will put on? I backed it about 3-4 weeks ago and the poundage is 48# at 26".
The arrows are red oak ( the first of 10) with bone arrow heads. I cheated and used fake feathers and hot glue.also coated the sinew ( scraps from the bow that I tied end to end) In Tb. Have some phesant feathers that I used on one arrow but didn't care to include.
