First arrow
« on: February 23, 2012, 05:48:45 pm »
Hi, I have been lurking here for quite awhile and i finally tried to make my first bamboo arrow. I am very happy how it turned out it also shoots very good. I Trimmed the wings on our black swans to get the fletchings and cut them by hand. Then put on a flint head that I knapped. How did I do?
THanks

If that is your first, you should be real proud.  Great job.

Awesome job!!  I'll be trying my first sometime this year as well.  I hope it turns out 1/2 as good.
Thanks,

At first I thought you said you were going to use it on a turkey and I was very worried for my wellbing.  Then I realized you said 'lurker', not turkey.

You got a reason to be a "grinner", that arrow makes me smile, too.
