Don't forget about the biggest event of the year! the 2012 'Valley of Fire' gathering in Nevada from Mar. 28-Apr. 2nd. this is the coolest atlatl event and venue of the year and the one you don't want to miss! the Valley of Fire park staff gives us not one but two giant group campsites for free and we set up an ISAC and 3D target course directly at the base of Atlatl Rock, a huge red rock formation in the center of the park with 4,000 year old petraglyphs of ancient atlatlists. how cool is that? this year plans to be the best one yet with all kinds of extra activities including a 'paleo olympics', a distance toss, and a mini marathon and shoot. the park is one of the most beautiful spots in the country and well worth seeing for its own sake, so grab the kids and join us for a free and fun-filled long weekend.
