my wife wanted me to build a friend of ours a bow, she's been wanting a tree stand bow to hunt outta her orchard, so here it is, hard maple 61" ntn, 1" 3/8" @ the grip with a straight taper, 40# @ 25",I wanted to give it a simple style, so it fits in at the rendevous, little horse hair tuft for wind indicator, stained it dark walnut, her rendvous name is medicine arrow so i looked at the snakes on medic alert stuff and came up with the little drawing, hope ya like it, Bub

thank's guy's, that's the best way to build a bow, just to give it away to a friend or a kid
turtlecreek it's1" 3/8" at the handle, then straight taper to just under 1/2" tips, no fades to speak of, almost tapered like an elb, Bub

Nice bow. I like the drawing. The horse hair looks cool too. Good job. She should be quite happy with that bow.
