Recommended source for Black horn overlay material?
« on: May 30, 2011, 06:44:24 pm »
Hey guys, I would like to use some black horn overlay on my tips and was wondering about a good / recommended source that some of you may have used in the past.  It would be great if that source also carried a line up of B-50 and serving material as I need those as well.

Many thanks!

I was JUST looking at those...wonder if they are black or brown, hard to tell from the little pic on the site.

Ya they don't say "colors may vary" so who knows. If you call them they would probably make sure you got a nice black piece.

I like the folks at 3rivers, so I hope you go there.  But, if you can't get what you want, search for horn knife scales on ebay and you'll find boat loads of hits.

George, I did place the order through 3 Rivers.  I'm anxious to keep moving on this bow so I figured the bigger retailer would get it to me a touch quicker.

Thanks R H Clark, I'll have to check them out next time I need some.
