A Bit of Twist
« on: April 22, 2011, 01:50:35 am »
So as my wife is still pregnant and working in the NICU at the hospital tonight (she was due Tuesday  :o ) I decided to use what little time I have left without a little guy in the world to work in the garage.  I took this stave down to 1 ring and drew her up.  It's too late to cut out with the bandsaw so that will have to wait for tomorrow... unless someone decides to come into this world late tonight.

Goose, this looks like a promising project. If your head is in the delivery room put this stave aside and get that crappy one in the corner.  :D  No need in messing up this little beauty.
Advance congratulations to you and your family.  8)  After all this labor, you know you "OWE" your wife now!  :D

No baby yet  :-\  So I worked on a bow.  Cut it out with the bandsaw.  So far 62" and a small hole.

Very nice stave, looks like you're going to get a great bow out of that one.  Looking forward to seeing that finished, as well as seeing a new little one.  Take lots of pictures...of both.  ;D
