It looks like a bandsaw can save you a whole lot of wood. I must bug my neighbour next time i get some yew and saw it up as opposed to splitting it.

Del I never get tired of looking at your ELBs! Reminds me of classic cars that you always admire the looks and styling of. Must be my Brit ancestry talking.
I'm looking to your bows for inspiration for a nice stave of pacific yew I have stashed away that can only be an ELB with nice horn nocks.
