battle axe? you name it...
« on: February 10, 2011, 08:53:02 pm »
Hey Gents
Cut down a mesquite tree had a few pieces left over. I got inspired (and angered) when I broke my old bowie knife. I just couldn't let the pieces go, so tell me what you think.
Thanks for looking

Forgot to mention.
Used trader cloth, buckskin, turkey feathers, and sim sinew.
Thanks

Very cool classic example of using what you got.
If we can't help each other what is the point of being here?

Yup. That thing can put some serious hacks in whatever it hits. Tried it on just about everything but a cinder block.

Thanks for the ideas.
Skull splitter Works for me. Cuz it's kinda medieval meets Native American. ;D LOL

Seriously though, This thing will hack away forever considering the way I set the blade, And mesquite is tough as nails.

Thanks

If you have to pull the trigger, is it really archery?

Hey Mullet
Nothin that fancy. Just an Arabian style bowie. Went on MANY a camping and hunting trip...Really hated to see it go. But it's got a new life now ;D.
And thank you.

Looks like something that would help you bluff drawing to an inside straight in a poker game.

"Yup, he's got that card in the hole, looks like the pot's his!  I fold."
Guns have triggers. Bicycles have wheels. Trees and bows have wooden limbs.
