Coral blade
« on: October 27, 2010, 03:57:17 pm »
Here is a coral blade I started.  I got the rock from Mullet and again THANX Eddie for the rock it is very unique I like it.  I find it amazing how different climates make all kinds of different knappable sources.  Well take a look it isnt done I may try and make it more refined haft a handle and ship it to Florida! ;)

Looks good, Russ. A lot of people don't like that plain looking coral. But when it is heat treated perfect it makes some pretty, translucent points.

nice i havent done much with my coral. Now I have some inspiration.
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intentions of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body. But rather to slide in sideways, thoroughly used up, totally worn out and loudly proclaiming....WOW WHAT A RIDE!!
