Hickory string follow

The wood being green would cause some addiitonal set. You also seem to have a large non bending handle area which would also cause some set if the bow isn't long enough. Jawge

You have a keen eye Ken, a big knot on the right limb. 


The handle is too stiff, I haven't completed the tillering when I first noticed the string follow. The bow is coming out too light, but a good practice bow to learn on.

I feel like I have to tell somebody (wife just doesn't seem to understand). I did some more work to the bow. Took quite a bit of wood out of the handle fade, tightened up the brace.
Went outside and shot it. WOW!
What a feeling of accomplishment. 40# @ 28", about 5# less than what I'm looking for. I left it long so I can shorten it a bit. I have two more hickories roughed out ready to go. Thanks to everyone for their help.
