just got a hickory log cut up , brought it home and milled out 87 1 by 2 by 6 foot boards all quartersawn , and a few shorter ones . heres a few pics have a look

Nate im sure we can work something out several of those skins you traded were damn nice ,thanks walk and professor , and rich you know im gonna hook you up with some . these were fun my table saw burnt up after the first 30 or so the rest i milled with a skill saw , makita's are tough as hell three hours of nonstop 2 inch hickory !!

Ken, this is a similar stack of hickory that I've been using for many of my bows, including the scalloped ones. Do me a favor and make a short native style one out of one of these boards just for the heck of it. Post pics, many pics.  ;D

anzi i cut a couple of them 2 and 1/2 inches just for that
