Two from one

 I had a real nice thin preform an was trying to clean it up a little more when ya i snapped it :'( Managed to get two okay points out of it  :) I already had a nice big point in my vision before the snap. Bob

thats too bad,looked like it had the makings for a nice "shannon pine tree" before it broke

I'd say you made the most of it. nice couple of points! I know it wasnt what you were after tho.

Good recovery.  That right there is why I often have two points about the same size from the same rock...

Bob, you astound me, when you Knapp you could spend a week on a point just to have it break and you don't even blink you just start again. Dad and I have broken points and hafted em to an old arra just to shoot em at a rock and watch em bust.

Hey Zack no sense gettin all twisted up it's just a rock ;D Oh they upset me sometimes especially a nice large preform. I've broke enough of them that I guess I'm immune to the whole thing. Probably doesn't hurt that I'm old now an have finally learned about patience an things like that :o Later Bob
