This weekends chippin'

Made these yesterday while I was down at Pappys.   Very relaxing day it was.
 First one is Flint ridge, second is Horse creek chert.

 BTW, I just blew an ear off a "Pine Tree" >:( It was gonna be pretty too.   I glue it back on and you can't tell it. I guess that'll go in the keeper case. :-\

Well they are both very nice son! The flint ridge is a sure eye catcher, but something about that horse creek that makes me gravitate it's direction.

Eye of the beholder I rekon? :-\

nice!!!! love the banding in the horse creek. jesse gave me a chunk last year and it was some of the best material i ever worked.

I like um both, but as Shannon already knows, I like the flint ridge the best! ;)

 I went on a rock run last too days. I found a new creek to to get horse creek. i don't think its ever been hit. i got about 100 pounds of it! Also got probably 200 pounds of dover and black Buffalo river!
