Looks gooood Jamie! I bet she's sharp too. That TX rock is tough enough to make good "using" knives and pretty enough to make good "looking" knives too.

Very nice blade out of some tough Tx rocki. Your knapping seems to have taken a big leap forward. Must be all the practice lately. Keep on knapping and keep on posting. I llove it.

thanks gents. xin when im in the right frame of mind i tend to slow down and read the stone and thigns just work. other times i try to make the rock do what i want it to rather than me doing what i need to do.
rick its next weekend. i thought mike was gonna get in touch with you about it. i know we are trying to figure out a date to get together and have a gathering. tim i hate that "funk". thats when i put everything away. oh yeah i knocked out 2 more knives again today. just cant stop myself

Mike's cooking
, I wish I could make it. Let me know about when you get a date to meet up. I haven't touched any rock in months. I need a fix.

My knapping efforts to date are crude in comparison to that blade. I will keep pecking away, and seeing blades like that give me something to strive for.
