Here are two points that have been in the works for sometime. The Dalton is keokuk and the other one is normanskill.

 No Shanon. its some point type from the north east.. I'm not sure of the name but it was commonly made from this material.

beautiful work jesse, that looks like it may be onandaga, although the normanskill veins do have dark patches.  doesnt matter anyway you did a hell of a job on it. where did you get the onondaga/normanskill?

I got it from rick. I'm pretty sure its normanskill it was tough to knapp and had all the vans and layers in it.

Dang Jesse - perfection as usual! That Normanskill looks tough but I think you like working the tough stuff ;D.

Really nice work, That is one of the nicest blades I've seen from Normanskill.  The guy I bought it from told me it was Normanskill, he had some Onondaga, but they were really rough looking pieces so I stayed away from it.
