So my dad received the bow today when he picked me up to go out to eat. He saw it and started commenting on how beautiful it was and then I told him to read what I wrote on it (Happy fathers day). He was really excited. Hopefully we will be able to go shoot sometime. Thanks for the comments.

I don't have a heat gun or a hot plate so I just suspended it over my stove top on high. It was kind of hard to get an even, slow heating though.

Actually the stove I used is electric but it generates enough heat to do the job. I boiled the recurves in.
