Hi everybody,

Every bow I have seen on here is an inspiration and work of art. I always dreamed of making my own bow as a kid and made several lame attempts without any advice and vague instructions from various books. I had given up, but this site has rekindled a lot of those dreams!

I just bought a rough and ready bow from Woodbows.com to get myself into shooting shape (I've never pursued my interest in archery other than at summer camp)  and have a modest bowyer project of finishing and sealing the bow. I will make a separate post for advice about that.
