naw my sand is dry and my rocks are dry..
the 2nd batch came out good.. i dont know what all the fuss is about havein to ramp it up so slow.
it might just be the rock i'm cookin but i had 2slabs of agait in this batch and they done fine.

i do jamie, i cook it at 500* let it sock for 3hrs.
its changes alot.

i hope so its like chippin talc when its raw. i knocked out a few raw but most of em step something fierce.

came out good, none busted and I've been brave with it.. rampin up to 500* in about 3hrs.. holding for 3hrs and cooling for 3hrs.. i was knappin hot rocks last night.
got a 2nd batch cooling right now.
sure am glad you are cooking flint  because i dont have any way to cook it any more since i gave you my kiln.bring some with you saturday if you have any left, i am planning on coming up. got a couple more daltons to show you.just found out how to do this computer stuff.
