60-65 to 40-45 Thanks Kegan

I know many of you have already done this but Kegan got me thinking.
I have several  60-65 spined POC shaft and no use for them. So I thought I would full length taper and spine to 40-45.
I will lose weight [haven't wade them yet]  but these probably will not be used for hunting any way just playing.
I haven't fletched yet but bare shaft they shoot pretty darn good.
Thanks Kegan

Don, I always buy the heaviest spines I can get then tune them up at home to about 55# spine. I loose some weight but not all that much. Most of the shafts I buy are matched for spine but not weight, when we start heavy we can match them both ways as we take them down. Steve

Glad to help ;D! As for the weight, I only lost about 10 grains for tapreing and respining. The biggest change was about 25 grains. It should work admirably :)
