Thanks Pete. I'm sure it comes from the NW states somewhere. I picked it up at a rock yard here in Ft.Worth (selling it as ornamental stone). It's really no good for points or projectiles (too brittle) but of course you only need it to work one time - once it's inside the deer doesn't matter if it's broken of not..
