Here is another osage bow I recently made. I know people get tired of seeing them, but I never get tired of splitting, chasing, draw-knifing, rasping, tillering, and smoothing. There is just something about this wood. . . Anyway, 66" ntn, 56# at 28", purple heart overlalys, 1 3/4" wide, 1/2" tips. Shoots smooth and fast. This was a very pretty piece of wood--no knots and very smooth. I had the stave for sale for $100 and nobody would buy it, so I just made two bows from it. This is "Fake Snake II's" brother.
