The Vanishing Archers
« on: April 14, 2021, 10:19:15 pm »
Hi Everybody,
My Good friend Mark who has helped me with several of my archery videos, wrote the following poem for a future video. It took me a couple of reads to truly understand what he wrote. The more I read it the more I like it. I thought some here might enjoy reading it.
Take care, brian

The Vanishing Archers

Where have all the old bows gone, from long time ago?

Where have all the arrows gone, many were made, that we know.

Lost in the leaves and the wood is rotten,

Others lay rest, dusty and forgotten.

Where have all the archers gone from long time ago?

Where have all their stories gone, many are forgotten that we know.

Keep them in mind and share their stories,

As one day we’ll join them when we see heaven’s glories.

Look closely, you can see their spirits in the campfire glow!

Here is the completed video for anyone who might be interested. My tribute to my Mentors who helped me when I first started out. Some shot selfbows and some shot older laminated bows. All of them helped me on my archery journey.
