Is cotton/polyester twine ok for bow strings>

This thing has some impressive breaking strengths. Would it work for a bow?

In the realm of bow making  you can use anything for a string, if you want a top performing bow, use bow string material. Just starting, out B-55 would be your best choice.



Someone tracked down an osage bow I gave to a brother-in-law before he died of MS, they found it in an abandoned storage building, they called me to see if I wanted it. It was strung when it was found, the string was electric fence wire.
