Looks great Paul. Funny how quickly those dogs learn things like that. My daughter’s dog knows the sound of the garage door and the microwave. Knows I’m going to give her a little treat.

thats an awesome bow paul!! i also really like the sinew string. I feel like it gives the bow a little bit more meaning.

Sweet characterish bow Paul.Like the full draw.I've never met you but like your conviction/style/and showing of it.Should make a sinew string for a bow myself sometime but use up the sinew on other bows' backs.

Beautifully simple bow buddy, and that string just adds to the whole primitive aspect... great work as always

Great looking bow especially with all those knots. Well done.

Thanks guys for the nice comments. I've been making and shooting more modern styles lately but I still love the real primitive stuff.

Thanks Dave but it was time for her to go. She was having a hard time walking and went out on a high note as far as I'm concerned. The only thing that was terrible about it was it happened while I was at Elm Hall last year. It was a rainy day and I had a few drinks in me and my  wife called to tell me she was going and there was nothing I could do about it being 5 hours away. My brother-in-law and father wrapped her in ice for me I came home and put her in my backyard the next morning where she belongs. Just wish I was there to deal with it

Lovely bow and a beautiful dog. Don't underestimate their intelligence, dogs are wonderful creatures and a Lab is right up there! Mine knows my every move and what it means.

Great looking bow, and the sinew string just tops it off. Makes me feel like I should at least learn to make one.
