mookaite
« on: February 05, 2020, 05:48:55 pm »
I just watched my buddy buy one ton of mookaite  from the Australians and 900 pounds of an unknown conglomerate rock from Texas. He is splitting the mookaite with another knapper. I manage to grab a couple of the conglomerate rocks and hope to get more as it knaps good when raw.

That should keep him busy for a little while. Pretty sure that would be way over the budget my darling wife would allow.

PS the conglomerate looks pretty nice Jeb. I’m thinking that’d be mor in my price range to.

The conglomerate was $300 a 55 gallon drum plus freight costs. I should have bought the other barrel.

This is good news. More Mookaite resides in the US. A win for all of us.
