New Veteran's benefit
« on: April 10, 2019, 10:38:56 pm »
For all who served - the Exchange Service Online is now available to all veterans with an honorable discharge.  Probably will have to provide a copy of your DD214.  Check it out at: www.shopmyexchange.com.  No period after.com!  I don't have any details, but there is a lot of quality stuff available!  Btw, Thanks for your service!

I joined the exchange a year or so ago but didn't find any bargains worth pursuing. Back in the day(67-68-69) the PX prices were a fraction of what they were out in the real world.

I agree, Eric!  It is not as competitive as it used to be, and I often see the big boxes at or even lower on their sales.  The Exchange does support "morale and welfare services" on each post/base with it's profits.

Anyone know if they are charging internet salea tax?  Might be worth it on some bigger ticket items.

Living in the mountains with few storea we do alot of online ordering.  The handful of items I looked at aren't  priced competirive enough for me to go through the process of getting registered.

I don't think they charge any taxes, I will double check and let you know.
