my 1st boo backed bow "UPDATED"

64" ntn  whiteoak and bamboo, pulling somewhere around 50#
i used a torch to darken up the bamboo
i still have to seal it and wrap the handle but here it is so far.
i will post pics at full draw and brace when i get it sealed.
i put reflex in it when i glued it up but most of it is gone now   :)

well from what i can see it looks decent. 

i know others are going to ask,so how about more pics like braced, full draw,tips etc.

personaly i would like to see a closer pic of the handle.

Nice! I like the look of flamed bamboo, it really blends in with the woods.

i left the bottom limb just a bit stiffer than the top . i was told that's the way you want them ?
is that right?
shoots real nice so i guess its ok..... ;)

 ;D Nice torch job Catfish!  Tiller looks real  good too! It's a bit harder to hold reflex using white oak with bamboo so don't worry about that. But it should be a very durable bow.

well i shot the bow about 100 shots today just to make sure it was going to last ...then my son came over and really liked it .  soooooo, now i need to make me another one . ;D
