Alpha- Gal
« on: March 24, 2018, 05:21:45 pm »
Well I guess once you get this crap you do have it for life. I pigged out on beef down here in Brazil last night and it decided to let me know about five in the morning with the trots and hives covering my arms and shoulders. I haven't had a single episode in two years and thought it was gone. Hard to go without eating beef or pork down here, in cattle country.

Skipping dinner tonight because the only meat at lunch was beef. I hate ticks.

Eddie, Eric fom Eric's rock got it an I think the only thing he ate for 2 weeks at the knappins  was chicken and peanut butter, Sure hope I never have deal with it, I did manage to get 4 ticks embedded in me at the knappin, dang tiny little things could hardly see them, and hooked right on, Soon as we get a warm spell here they are on the move. Getting worse every year. Hope your feelin better and be safe down there. Bob

Eddie, I had it come back after two years being normal. Maybe I got bit again.
What works for me is --- mixing a lot of other stuff with meat. I eat little beef as I always use venison. If I have bacon, I have toast, eggs and juice. 1/2 lb bacon put
me in the hospital. A Philly cheese steak did the same. Both on an empty stomach and no veggies or beer LOL.
Try to mix it up a little.  If I get heart burn I down two  Benydril if I am not driving.

Had beef for lunch yesterday, all there is to eat and can't go the all veggie diet. So I skipped dinner last night and had a barley and hopps meal.

Aw jeez, I hate to hear that. I was just mentioning this to someone the other day.  He had the temerity to say that it was not real and only a loony anti hunter tofu lover would make this up.  Despite his perfect description of you ( >:D), I had to pull up evidence online to throw at him.

I hope you are feeling better, and dang soon, sir.

Plenty of beans and rice down here, Rog, I hate it. Beans and rice every meal except breakfast. It wasn't bad, only reared it's head enough to say," hey, dumbass, I'm still here". Save me some backstrap Pappy, I'm good in Moderation. Heading to the BBQ tomorrow night.
