some new points
« on: March 18, 2008, 08:54:49 pm »
Here are a few new points made from raw perdernales flint from Cowboy.  These are some of my first points

the first 2 hafted ones are hunting legal but they arent sharp enough but are still sharp enough to do damage and the third one is a small game point.  sorry for bad pics especially of the 3 one

i dont have another arrow to haft the third one so i will be sending it to Cowboy with the shipping money. And i expect you to put it on a small game arrow ;D

it amazes me how tuff this stuff is i shot it off the plywood rim of my target and it still held together any obsidian point would of broke.

Not bad at all. Just keep at it and before you know it, things will start coming together.
If you could only get to the classic ???  You could learn more in one weekend than you could in years of trial and error.
BTW, I like the second one.  Saw Filer
Be thankfull for all you have, because no matter how bad you think it is...it can always be worse.
