There are 12" barrel B/P pistols out there but not traditional ones.

Couple years back. I was watching PBS Michigan outdoors.. There was this fella and he took a deer with a BP percussion pistol.. Only about 10 yards if I remember correctly.. Looked like a lot of fun.. To bad it's illegal in Canada

That looks exactly like what I had in mind.  I just need a longer barrel to be legal.  Thanks for posting the pictures.

One thing that might work is getting a rice or coletrain barrel and a lock and just cutting down the barrel length and making your own stock. Prolly going to get pricey going that route though.

I've taken this barrel off and dropped it in another CVA rifle stock. Looked kinda cool.

Ha! Mullet I did the same thing when I had my hawken stock and kentucky pistol kit.

I thought about sawing down the stock to have a little hawken street sweeper but I never did it!
