coworker's offer
« on: March 06, 2008, 05:17:00 am »
i'm a little bit excited. a coworker of mine is planning to clear some trees in the spring and summer, and he has basically offered to cut wood to my spec. he said that he's got elm, oak, sassafrass, beech, cherry, and all i have to do is say the word!!! he told me that his neighbor had some trees logged, and the limbs they left behind are bigger than the trees i usually cut down for splitting into staves. all of this is apparently available, all i've got to do is say the word! wow!!!

i deal with tree guys all the time who call and say they left trees for me if i want em. do your self a favor and go tag what you want. that way you dont have to sift through knotty twisted wood. what one guy thinks is good usually ends up being firewood. good luck
