Keep an eye out in the mail for anyone living in these states.

We had our info compromised a couple years back and the company was required to offer everyone two free years of that credit watchdog service which is really, really awesome if you're not a member of it.

It saves you the trouble of filling out a bunch of paperwork because any time something weird shows up regarding your social it's flagged and you're contacted directly to confirm it before they allow it to process. Stops people from taking your social and going to buy a boat or something.

They'll likely have to do something similar.
