Once again, beautiful bow.

Just out of curiosity, I'm in the process of trying to validate some bow mathematics, and my math shows that for a 66" tip to tip purpleheart bow, (64" ntn) it should have ended up in the ballpark of 0.44" thick and 2.55" wide. Did your bow end up anywhere near those numbers?

@Wooden Spring:The 2.55" wide measurement is practically "spot on" as the bow is 2.5" at the base of the pyramid. I'm not sure of the thickness at the moment but, given how close the other measurement came in, I would guess that t is probably pretty darn close. I'll check after work and message you tonight/tomorrow.

Awesome! Thanks for the response. I'm trying to vet the formulas given in the book "Archery: The Technical Side," and it's cool to see that they actually do work!

That is totally wild man! And a fantastically well crafted bow to boot! :-)

Hey Mike, I just saw you shoot this one on you tube. I must say I have become a massive fan of your bows and your vid's. Highly entertaining and informative. You have been making some really nice shooters. A very positive, no holds barred depiction of bowmaking. You are a credit to the bowyer community.

Really like how you put your own stamp of individuality on what you create. I'm happy to admit my initial read of the artwork was wrong.

I to really enjoy your YouTube channel!
This particular bow is beautiful! Your craftsmanship and personal touch really shines. I have to say that the artwork is a little more modern than we normally see here on pa. But the execution of the design is stunning! The artwork is not something I would do or even attempt. But if I seen you with this bow at the range I would be dying to shoot it and ooo and awh over your talent. Thanks for sharing can't wait to see the next one!
