Thanks, fellas. I've never really had a problem with the humidity and sinew down here. I usually try to seal them good, mostly with skins and Spars Urathane  and obviously I don't shoot or hunt with them in the rain. Hunting season here  is usually the lowest humidity we have except when the rain is coming through with a cold front. The humidity will drop down in the 40's later this week after the rain moves out and that is like desert breathing for me.

Now that's a great bow to hunt with when you're hunting the thick stuff,  also you were pretty resourceful on the finish.
Great Job!

Every time I see nice sinew backed bows it makes me want to try making one.  Maybe I'll get a bow all ready for sinew before next years TN classic. I figure that there will be plenty of brain power there to give pointers, plus it will show others newbies like me how its done.

Yew and sinew... I gotta do that someday.
We got a good crop of pears this year... I'll PM you some pears in trade for a pinapple :laugh:
