Is the recurve on the right side longer than the recurve on the other?

Yep. I could have fixed it, I just failed to clamp the bottom all the way and left a little gap between the back and the jig, but as always it's just my bow so it's no biggie ;D

Might as well make them short, save some wood to keep warm.

Lot of draw length for that short bow and I'm also impressed by the low mass weight, nicely done. :)

Yeah .... you got all of it out of that piece of wood.

great bow with little wood. Reminds me on the Mohegan recurves. Good work man.
Haven't found it: is it BL or osage, looks like BL.

Oh right, it's locust :) Due to an accident I have a little osage to try this design, pretty sure it'll compare nicely.

Good job on that one.
How thick is the bow throughout the working section?
Sterk werk 😎

I just split up a short 52 in osage log and got about 5 staves out of it, one of them will definitely be inspired by your bow! Good job bud

It's hard to say without callipers but it looks like 7/16" just out of the grip, juuuust under 3/8" at mid limb, and about 1/4" just before the nock/in the recurves.

Just got a painfully cheap chronograph, this thing is shooting at 164-166fps, feels a little slower than my mollegabets but I'm happy with it ;D ;D ;D

I'll get some better draw shots and maybe a video sometime soon.
