Maple newbie

62" NTN 1 1/2" at the fades and about 1/2" at the tips. Took 1 1/2" of set. 2 maple lams and a cherry tapered lam in the center that is 48" long. 6 1/2" brace height. Weight maybe 35#  Handle is yew, cherry, and maple.  This is the shortest bow I have built and very light. It shoots ok as per target,  no its not 20 yards but not bad for 15 yards..

Thanks guys.  As the target gets annihilated I will fill the holes with spray foam.  It only cost me for the blank box like $3.

Nice clean lines. The handle looks great and the tips are awesome. You sure like laminate bows eh?   I wouldn't have touched cherry as (self) bow wood, but I hear it performs ok in laminations.

Looks like most of your bend is mid limb. You could get more bend near the fades.

I would not use cherry as a bow either.  Some guys have though, tons of choke Cheery around our parts.

I was aware of that but I did not want to take it under weight to much.  I try not to fuss to much with the fades but next time I'll work them more to get a more even bend.  It has over 80 sots through it time will tell if she holds together.
