Prunus laurocerasus
« on: May 16, 2015, 11:17:49 am »
Hi All,

has anyone any experience with Prunus laurocerasus (Common Laurel/English Laurel) as I have a stave cut 6 months ago roughed out (still a little bit green) but am not sure whether to try for ELB or flat-bow? Am only looking for moderate weight - say 35 to 45pounds at 28inch draw.

It seems that virtually any of the Cherry type trees will make a bow of some sort. A flatbow is always a  safer bet.
